- Start: Hyde Park, near the south-east corner by Knightsbridge
- End: Hyde Park (circular)
- Distance: About 5.4 km (3.4 miles)
- Terrain: Paved paths and compacted tracks — almost entirely flat; firm underfoot year-round
Easy to follow — the lake, the roads beyond the railings, and the Park Lane towers give you constant reference points. Expect cyclists on the main tracks, tourists near the Serpentine, and heavy foot traffic on sunny weekends. In winter part of the park becomes Winter Wonderland, a fairground running from November to January.
