About me
I’m Daniel Atienza López — a Cloud Architect and Technology Consultant with over a decade of experience building software, data platforms, and cloud-native systems. As a Cloud Architect I design platforms that stay operable; as a Technology Consultant I advise on cloud and data choices and help ship products online, with security and AI in the mix when they earn their place. I currently hold twelve Google Cloud certifications that I’ve earned over the last five years.
I grew up in Spain, close to hills and the coast, and I’ve lived in the United Kingdom for some years now. Away from a desk I’m usually outside — hiking, running, or on a mountain bike — or travelling, cooking, and reading. When I travel I like to see a place by walking it: parks, coast paths, and hill loops before the museums and city centres.
I care about doing things properly. That means shipping work that holds up, keeping systems as simple and reliable as I can, and writing clearly enough that someone else can reuse the idea.
This site is where those threads meet. Technology is notes on cloud, software, and how I build online. Routes is hikes and runs I’ve done, often with maps and GPX. The gallery is photographs from those days out.
